At Sandy Lane Designs we try to make and create consciously. Below are some of the ways we are minimising our environmental footprint and we are always looking for more ways to improve.

FSC Certified Forests

Our signs are made from Plywood sourced from a local, independent timber supplier. All materials are sourced from FSC certified forests. The FSC forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability. FSC-certified forests are managed to strict environmental, social and economic standards. 

Plastic Free or Biodegradable Packaging

Where possible, we will always aim to use plastic free packaging when shipping your products, however we often need to use bubble wrap to ensure your signs make it to you without any damage or scratches. Where this is the case, we will use biodegradable bubble wrap and aim to re-use as much as possible. The recycling room is an excellent source of information to discover how to recycle different materials and to find the locations of your nearest recycling banks.
