Terms and Conditions
1. THE PROCESS
1.1 Bespoke signs typically take 8-12 weeks to produce from provision of all information. Specific completion timelines will be communicated to you ahead of booking to ensure your signs are ready in time for your event.
1.2 Digital proofs will be provided for your review ahead of production.
1.3 You are responsible for ensuring the correctness of all wording, spelling, and layout. Sandy Lane Designs will not accept responsibility for any incorrect details or mistakes.
1.4 Once designs are approved, materials will be ordered and designs will be produced. Your confirmation on the final proof signifies acceptance of responsibility for all information as presented.
1.5 Changes post-approval will incur additional charges and may impact the agreed completion date.
2. PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND MATERIAL
2.1 Ensure accurate provision of information.
2.2 Sandy Lane Designs is not responsible for spelling mistakes or incorrect information provided. Additional amendments will be charged on the final invoice.
3. COPYRIGHT
3.1 Under no circumstances are you permitted to sell any signage or artwork produced by Sandy Lane Designs on after use without permission. Please get in touch if you would like to request a re-sell.
3.2 Copying or reproducing proofs is prohibited. Improper use will be pursued.
4. QUALITY
4.1 Samples and proofs may slightly differ from the finished product due to the paint mixing and hand-painting process.
4.2 Variations in texture, colour, size, and positioning are not faults; exact matches with digital proofs are not guaranteed.
4.3 Colour codes can be provided, but variations may occur between screen and mixed paint.
5. PAYMENT
5.1 A non-refundable £50 booking fee is required to secure your date and booking. If you decide to cancel the order or your wedding for any reason at all, you are agreeing to forfeit this booking fee.
5.2 The rest of the balance is payable once work is completed and before anything is delivered or collected.
5.3 Preferred payment method is bank transfer but other forms of payment can be discussed.
5.4 Payment must be received within 7 days of invoicing. Changes may alter the completion date.
6. CANCELLATION & DELAYS
6.1 The £50 booking fee is non-refundable.
6.2 If you decide to cancel the order once work has commenced/finished you are still required to pay the full balance. Work can commence at any time after the booking fee is paid.
6.3 Cancelled orders receive a full refund if initiated by Sandy Lane Designs.
6.4 If you decide to postpone your event within 6 months of the original event date, we can accommodate this free of charge and the booking fee will be carried over, however this is subject to availability. If you need to postpone your event beyond 6 months there may be additional fees.
7. POSTAGE & PACKAGING
7.1 Delivery fees will range from £10-£100 depending on the weight and size of the parcel.
7.2 Tracked services will be used and include loss or damage cover up to £150. If you wish to insure items to the full amount this can be arranged for an increased delivery fee. A tracking code will be provided.
7.3 Ensure someone is available to sign for delivery. Sandy Lane Designs is not responsible for lost items or delays due to circumstances beyond control.
8. MARKETING
8.1 Sandy Lane Designs reserves the right to use photographs and videos of the production process and finished product for marketing purposes. Photographs and videos will not be shared publicly until after your event date, unless agreed differently with you in writing. If you do not want your items to be used in marketing materials please inform us.
9. UPDATES
9.1 Sandy Lane Designs reserves the right to update these terms and conditions without notice.
